Bobby's Burger Palace Review (West Philly)

Alethea (my boss), Amanda (co-worker), and I went to Bobby's Burger Palace in West Philly for lunch. It was only their second day at this location, their first restaurant in Pennsylvania. Being a very new restaurant, I'll cut them some slack about the long line and the wait. The food was very good and their sauces were great. I had a "classic" burger, sweet potato fries, and a Coke Zero. Is it better than Five Guys? No, about equal in my estimate. Where they kill their competitors is in the ambiance of their dining area. It was a very nice experience, though a bit pricey at $12.

Picture of the Day 4/2

Parked around Rittenhouse Square for a dentist appointment. There were a lot of people in and around the park, enjoying the nice weather.

Philadelphia Eagles "Fans" Pummel San Francisco 49ers Fans with Snowballs

I hate this crap and it's exactly why I will never support Philadelphia sports teams, especially football and baseball. This is a lot of juvenile crap. At times, I really dislike being associated with Philadelphia in any way... this being one of them. Philadelphians shouldn't have to wonder why people don't like coming to Philly, especially for conferences and sporting events. This is a perfect example of typical thug behavior on display at sporting events.

A Visit to Macy's Center City Philadelphia for Art, Food, and Gelato

The design team went to the Macy's in Center City Philadelphia to view large photos @scottspitzer shot for their home department. All of the black and white pictures used on the third floor of Macy's, except for the one of Martha Stewart, were shot by Scott. It was a great lunch. We ate at McGillin's Olde Ale House and finished up at Capogiro's, before taking SEPTA back to West Philly.
