The Scrum/Agile Board at Work

This is our first week of real sprints using the Agile/Scrum incremental development framework. The design team's stuff is on the left. The two web software development teams have their stuff in the middle and to the right. The board only reflects a 1/2 week of scrum. :-)

Work Project Launch - Biomedical Postdoctoral Programs Site

Launched a completed project at work, Biomedical Postdoctoral Programs site. This site redesign went relatively smoothly. Besides the social networking integration, there were a number of changes under-the-hood... mostly centered around the navigation. In all, a very nice development cycle.

Wife's Holiday Party on Spirit of Philadelphia 2009

Pictures before launch and of people at the table. I probably should have taken more pictures, but there was a lot going on.

A short video clip taken on New Jersey and Philadelphia while standing on the top deck. It was cold that night. We got 16 inches of snow the next day. The next video is very loud.

Another short video out on the dance floor. It was very loud. Turn your sound down. Sorry.

SOMIS Holiday Party 2009

Pics from the officce's annual holiday get-together. Lots of food, drink, and cheer. :-)

A Visit to Macy's Center City Philadelphia for Art, Food, and Gelato

The design team went to the Macy's in Center City Philadelphia to view large photos @scottspitzer shot for their home department. All of the black and white pictures used on the third floor of Macy's, except for the one of Martha Stewart, were shot by Scott. It was a great lunch. We ate at McGillin's Olde Ale House and finished up at Capogiro's, before taking SEPTA back to West Philly.

Ben's Going Away Gathering

Ben Adam's is leaving our department and going across the street to Wharton. We will miss him. I know he will just be across the street, but the reality is that we probably won't see him again. :-)
