Fleischmanns, New York

When Amy and I went to a wedding near Woodstock, NY a few weekends ago, we stumbled across a Congregation B’nai Israel enclave in Fleischmanns, NY. We were driving around, looking at the old buildings and drove straight into a seemingly modern orthodox Jewish community. There were around 100 or more people walking around in orthodox garb on the Sabbath. I didn't take any pictures of the people because it would probably come off as rude; though it did seem strange to be driving around in a rural setting and run across people all dressed similarly. I did manage to take a few pictures of the now-defunct freight building that was a part of the town's railroad station. Here is the Wikipedia entry for Fleischmanns.
